Who We Are
LUX Mountain Homes Ltd was founded by Chris Papworth in 2017, originally based in Vancouver and servicing all across the Lower Mainland. Chris had a vision to create beautiful, custom spaces of superior quality, unique to each and every client, with a focus on offering professionalism, punctuality and customer service of the highest standards, at all times. With over 15 years experience in the industry Chris has done it all, from full heritage home renovations to custom kitchens, bespoke bar rooms and hidden wine cellars. He brings together a wealth of knowledge of the construction industry and vast experience from Vancouver, the Okanagan and London, UK. Training as a carpenter in England as well as becoming a full qualified electrician, he honed his skills for many years, before emigrating to Canada. Chris has vast experience working on and managing projects of all levels and budgets, from $10,000-$5million and enjoys taking on projects of all different kinds.

In 2020 Chris and his family decided to make the move to the Sunshine Coast from the mainland, it is somewhere they have always dreamed of living and is the ideal place to now raise their children. When Chris isn’t on a project site or getting stuck into his own personal projects you can find him and his family hiking, adventuring and exploring all the coast has to offer!

Preconstruction Design
We can help guide you through the design process with the construction elements in mind so that the build intertwines with your design keeping it practical whilst meeting your visual expectations. We work with designers, architects and engineers to make sure everything is planned out before starting.
The Finishing
Touches
We understand the end product all relies on those finishing touches and so we are meticulous with the design details and specifications so that nothing is missed. We always leave your home tidy and welcoming at the end of the project.
On-Site Consultations
We are here to cater to your needs and specifications, we will come a by and take a look at any size project and always go through all the small details to make sure the end product is exactly what you had in mind.
Construction
We work through all the stages, forming, framing, siding, finishing and cabinetry. We work closely with you to keep your project running smoothly, on budget and on time.
